Esther measures accessibility risk for others. This website is held to the same standard.

The standard

The esther.ai website is designed and built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG 2.2 is the current version of the guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

The standard covers every page on esther.ai.

Where the site stands

On September 29, 2026, before launch, an automated review found no WCAG 2.2 AA failures on the site's pages, at desktop and mobile widths (axe-core 4.10.2).

A manual review with screen readers is scheduled. Until it is complete, the site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

How the site was tested

  • Automated checks.Every page is checked with axe-core, an automated accessibility testing engine, at desktop width and at 320 pixels wide. Most recently: September 29, 2026.
  • Keyboard review.On September 26, 2026, every page's keyboard path was checked stop by stop: that each link and button can be reached and used, and that the focus stays visible.
  • Screen reader review.Scheduled after launch: NVDA with Firefox, and VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS, checking headings, landmarks, links, and images.
  • Esther's own assessment.Esther assesses the live site after launch, and its result is recorded here with its date.

Each known limitation is listed here: what it is, who it affects, and what is being done about it.

The booking page. Introductions are booked on a Google Calendar page, outside this site, and its accessibility is Google's. Anyone who cannot use it can write to info@esther.ai instead, and we set a time by email.

Reporting a barrier

A barrier on this site can be reported to info@esther.ai. Each report is recorded with its date, like any other finding, and the person who sent it hears back.

The most useful report names the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and any assistive technology in use.

A report is answered within two business days.
